much different from today's hack 'n' slash. At the beginning wilds.io was designed as a survival game, however, rezoner (dev), decided to change the goals of the game and thus created today's wilds.io.

In the first design, player had the task of fighting for survival by cutting and collecting wood which would be used later, hunting for animals, fishing and the like. Graphics and animations are different from those found in the game now.

Players have never been given the ability to play wilds survival game, but some players wanted to see how this game would look as a survival game. However, at this moment there is no information that the developer wants to create a game based on previous assumptions of wilds.io.

However, you come across information that future updates may contain some survivor aspects that were in the early game plans like tree shearing and building easy constructions like destructible walls. But nothing is confirmed in 100%, and we will see what new things will be added in next updates.
